FRUIT TREE PRUNING A free training event with Crowhurst Community Agriculture was held on the Saturday 21st November from 10 am to 2.30 pm. |

Training on Framework , spur and general maintenance pruning. Tour of orchard noting tree forms and Pruning principles

Water based paint was used to mark the trees where pruning was to take place. This allowed for change of mind after more careful thought. |

Secatuears, loppers and 1 handed pruning saws were used to cut a 45 degree angle, allowing the rain to drain away and healing to take place. |
