A free training event, with Crowhurst Community Agriculture was held on the Saturday 16th October 2009 from 10 am to 2.30 pm.

• Tips on Varieties, storage and cooking handouts were distributed

As well as taking home 5 to 6 carrier bags each of fruit, 540 bottles (45 cases) were juiced and bottled by Roy Cook at the Sedlescombe Vineyard.

The label opposite was very kindly designed by Simon Parkin for free as he said we were a community organisation. His website is: www.ethicalgraphicdesign.co.uk

Roy Cook has also kindly said we can use his labeling machine for a very small fee if we operate it and feed the machine with the bottles to apply the labels ourselves. Exciting as it will be about learning a new skill!
